NorthStar CIS Live at Green Bay

OTTAWA, ON - 21 May 2008 -- The NorthStar division (Harris NorthStar) of Harris Computer Systems (Harris) is pleased to announce that Green Bay Water Utility is now live on the NorthStar CIS system. Green Bay upgraded to NorthStar CIS from an earlier version of Harris NorthStar's legacy application (NorthStar 5.2.19) that had been in place there for a number of years. This successful upgrade implementation is part of Harris NorthStar's ongoing campaign to migrate its customer base onto the Java-based NorthStar CIS solution. "As a growing Utility we try to keep progressing and keep up with technology," said Kim Couillard, Customer Billing Coordintor, of Greend Bay Utilities. "The new enhancements and reporting features that Northstar offers were a strong selling point for Green Bay. We will soon offer online access to our customers to view and pay their bills online. This move to Northstar seemed to be a step in the right direction as we implement E-Care and try to keep up with our customer's requests."
